SMT (Surface Mounted Technology) is a kind of pin-free or short-lead surface assembly components (SMC/SMD, Chinese called chip components) mounted on the surface of the Printed Circuit Board (PCB) or other substrate surface, Circuit assembly by welding by reflow welding or dip welding.

The production equipment in the SMT workshop is a high-precision machine, which has certain requirements for the dust-free level of the SMT workshop environment. Too much dust in the SMT workshop has an impact on the mounting accuracy and welding quality of tiny components, such as 0201 and 01005 with extremely fine spacing 0.3mm components.

Too much dust will also increase equipment wear, even equipment failure, increase equipment maintenance costs, so the workshop work site to keep clean, no dust, no corrosion, no odor gas. It is particularly important to reduce the impact of dust particles on products and equipment and ensure the normal operation of equipment and personal health.

Through the construction of the purification workshop, from the basic level:

1. Ensure the stability of workshop equipment and mounting accuracy;

2. Ensure that the welding pad of the processed products is not contaminated by dust, which affects the welding yield;

3. Prevent a large amount of dust flow and environmental changes to produce static electricity, resulting in ESD risk;

4. Ensure that the indoor air is more hygienic and fresh, which is conducive to the staff's work comfort and health;
